EZ LIGHT K 50L
|
EZ-LIGHT™ K50L and K80L indicators provide highly visible 50 mm dome indicators, in a choice of two housing styles. The K50L and K80L offer an alternative solution to cumbersome post and stack lights with a compact, low-profile design for easy installation and use in challenging plant applications. These indicator lights feature brightly colored solid or flashing LEDs for optimal viewing and are available in four configurations. “K50L and K80L indicator lights come in two compact, unobtrusive designs for easy mounting wherever you need them—directly on a machine, elevated or flat-mounted to a wall or DIN rail,” said Joe Dolinsky, Banner's EZ-LIGHT product manager. “These robust, highly visible models indicate sensor status in difficult to access areas, and they solve a variety of assembly line applications by indicating and verifying part selection.”

LOW-ANGLE RING LIGHTS

Low-angle ring lights connect directly to Banner PresencePLUS® vision sensors or an external power supply to provide optimal illumination of an inspected part by enhancing the contrast of surface features. The lighting, nearly perpendicular to the direction of an inspection illuminates the area directly in front of the camera emphasizing surface irregularities such as dust, dents, scratches and other surface defects. “No matter how powerful or robust a sensor is, successfully solving challenging vision applications relies heavily on matching the vision application with appropriate lighting,” said Dan Holste, director of Banner vision sensors. “With the right lighting, the vision sensor will reliably detect the features it’s supposed to at the desired speed.” Holste adds, “Selecting the correct light is a major factor in determining overall success or failure of your vision sensing applications.”

WORLD BEAM Q12
|
WORLD-BEAM® Q12 chemical-resistant sensors are miniature photoelectric sensors with liquid-tight PFA jackets for use in wet and corrosive industrial environments. The sensor is capable of sensing up to 1.5 m in the opposed mode and 15, 30 and 50 mm fixed-field ranges. The sensor has been tested for 1200 psi washdowns. The PFA jacket is a $98 addition to the sensor’s list price. “The sensor is totally encapsulated in a PFA jacket, sealing it against chemicals and vapors that are unsuitable for standard sensor models,” said Chuck Dolezalek, product development engineer. “With its tiny size and rugged housing, the Q12 is an ideal choice for caustic or washdown applications with serious space limitations.”

A-GAGE® EZ-ARRAY™ two-piece measuring light screens excel at high-speed, precise process monitoring and inspection, profiling and web-guiding applications. It offers quick and simple installation, and uses closely spaced infrared beams to detect objects as small as 5 mm; edge resolution is 2.5 mm.
